Mobile Display Advertising Musings

From Mark Mahaney of Citi, some highly bullish musings on the future of mobile display advertising:

InMobi believes that Mobile Display Advertising can exceed PC Display advertising over time, driven by both dramatically expanding Mobile Internet usage and the potential for greater effectiveness of Mobile Display ads. InMobi believes that Mobile Click Rates are already 5X to 10X that of PCs currently. InMobi views itself and AdMob as the clear leaders in highly scalable, performance-based Mobile Display Advertising. InMobi believes that its global Display Ad inventory is similar in size to AdMob and expects its own revenue to double in 2011.
