I’ve Had Just About Enough “New Normal” to Last Me a Lifetime

As one of the promulgators of the whole “new normal” meme I am officially falling on my rhetorical sword. Sorry. Apologies. Mea culpa. The thing is out of control, having become the default construction in all economic discussions and right up there with “The West Coast Fed” [ed., stop messing around] as PIMCO’s favorite marketing slogan.

Check the following Google News search of “new normal” over the last 140 years. We win, in a walk. Again, sorry about that.
