Notes from Fiji on the Recession/Depression

From a friend who just got back from a surfing trip to Fiji, this is a snippet of a conversation he had about the economy with a fellow surfer there:

Him: "Was there not some type of recession dude?"

Me: "Yes, in fact there was."

Him: "Heavy!"
