Visualizing NYC Historical Subway Traffic Trends

We here at iGreed HQ are unapologetic data junkies, especially strange and unusual data, doubly so if it is well-presented and has economic import. Traffic data is high on that list, as prior posts about California highway traffic have shown. With that in mind, the appeal of the following chart using spark lines to explore 100-years of New York City subway ridership on a station-by-station basis will likely need no further explanation. It’s fascinating stuff.
