Eric Hovde on the U.S. Depression, Rail, etc.

Useful (albeit intermittently erratic) discussion with long-short guy Eric Hovde talking about the commercial real estate market outlook (25% default rates), the current economy (it’s a depression), and the bankruptcy of a stimulus plan that swaps substantial light-rail spending for an Anaheim-to-Vegas rail-line. (And gloss over the parts where he lapses into Valley-speak — I thought that was strange too.)
