QOTD: We’re All Kalecki Capitalists Now

Through some sort of strange fluke of wormhole drive-by Keynesianism I have had the following quote independently proffered to me twice in the last three days.  It is usually attributed to Polish economist Michal Kalecki, but is not to be found in any of his works.

The workers spend what they get, and capitalists get what they spend.

We’re getting ready to find out whether that really holds, now aren’t we.
