Which Tech Companies Don’t Survive 2009?
Which tech companies don’t make it through 2009, whether they exit via acquisition or bankruptcy? This is a mature industry, and consolidation is overdue. It should have happened sooner, of course, but a combination of weakened demand, broken balance sheets, and a devastated ad market will do in 2009 what rational thought couldn’t do in 2003-2008.
There are plenty of candidates to choose among, including Micron, AMD, Yahoo, Riverbed, etc., but feel free to add to the list in comments to this post.
