The "End of the U.S." Thing
Given my catastrophism leanings and fondness for deranged Velikovksy-ian noodlings, it will come as no surprise that I don't find it entirely implausible that large countries can rapidly disappear, up to and including the U.S. Do I think, however, pace Igor Panarin, that the U.S. can disappear in the next two years, with parts going to Canada, China, Europe, Russia, and Mexico? Let's just say I think it's unlikely, but I'm cheerfully convinced with (much) more data and (much) less Cold War rhetoric from a country, Russia, increasingly back-sliding into anti-Americanism.
