Toy "r" Us Store Stays Open Almost Six Days Straight
If this doesn't show the depths to which retail descended in this disastrous selling season, I don't know what does.
The Toys “R” Us store in Times Square stayed open an unprecedented 134 continuous hours, through 8 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Given the collapse in demand and the massive discounts, how many month of business have retailers pulled forward? For a while I was saying January and February, but now I'm wondering if it's not most of the first half of '09.
