What are people’s favorite semi-phonetic stock tickers? You know, like TXN (pronounced "Texan"), GOOG, etc.

    And my favorite is HouseValues, SOLD – the ticker that tells you how you could’ve made money at almost any point since their IPO.

    Not semi-phonetic, but I always liked ICE. JADE is pretty much a word too, as is FAX.
    More onomatopoeia, but BA is fun…
    In the semi-phonetic category… SKIL, SWIR, XRAY, BUD… and Emiril’s BAM!

    Pre-Mobil merger Exxon was XON. I always thought that was the perfect ticker.
