Super-Yachts Last All Summer Long, Part II
Tom Perkins of Kleiner Perkins fame has his mega-super-yacht Maltese Falcon for sale. Launched only in the summer of 2006, and nos being sold for $166m or so, this is not going be a 10x exit for the former venture capitalist.

Nice allusion to that great sci-fi short story "Supertoys Last All Summer Long" -- wasn't that the basis for Kubrick's movie AI?
The modern square-rig-esqe sail plan is a pretty radical design. Maybe it doesn't sail so good.
