Thanks for posting. They are holding this year's TED in my hometown but the spendy price tag limits me to online participation only. Still, I love the enthusiasm and optimism of this forum. As Chris said, complaining will only get you so far - we need people willing to act.









I do like what he said about the internet/broadband video revolution bringing new ideas to a vast audience who might otherwise have never heard them.
"Why 18 minutes?". Did you notice that the Charlie Rose clip was cut to one second shy of 18 minutes, which is the same time limit for the TED speakers that Charlie asked about?
