Amazon: The Google of Buying Stuff Thinks I'm Japanese
Was mulling Amazon as the Google of buying stuff this morning, a thesis with which I couldn't agree more. When I want to know stuff, I use Google; when I want to buy stuff (even if I end up buying it elsewhere), I use Amazon. The metaphor is precise and useful.
Anyway, on going over to Amazon subsequently to check on something I wanted to buy, I spotted the following:
Paul Kedro-San. Hello? Oh, I get it.
