Greenberg Debate Update: Saved By Ma Bell and the Fed
Herb Greenberg was saved by Ma Bell today in our scheduled "blogger bears" debate live on CNBC. The network was getting a bad signal from the studio here in San Diego, so they yanked the segment at the last second.
Damn. I don't want to suggest that Herb caused the glitch, and even if he was being awfully tricksy wearing his pink "aren't I upbeat" shirt, but I did notice him furtively kicking studio cables now and then.
We need a rematch. Especially given that Herb predicted a 25-bp cut and we just got a 50.
