TED@Aspen Anyone?
Anyone planning to go to TED@Aspen? I know, I know, it's a mere electronic shadow of the real thing, but it's nice to imagine combining skiing and interesting conversation.
Speaking of TED, anyone been a regular there recently? My sense is it's become a bit "save the world", but maybe I'm wrong.

I've not sure about saving the world, but John Doerr's maudlin performance earlier this year nearly made me lose my lunch.
I agree with John F. The Doerr performance was utterly nauseating. What a fraud.
TED is huge on rich do-gooders saving the world. *And* celebrities. It's nothing like what it was in Saul's days.

I found this product on the web that has some decent save the world potential (cold temperature efficient heat pump): http://www.gotohallowell.com/
Just wanted to mention it in the hope that someone reading will find out if they have adequate funding.
