Tech: Better Webcam Headsets Needed
Returning to a bugbear for me, we need better webcam headsets. Specifically, I want a headset that uses one ear bud on a wire and an attached lavalier microphone. Why is there nothing like that out there? It's completely nuts. What's with the people at Creative, etc. etc.?

This will work but you have to put a rubber band or something to hold the talk button down. You might also need a plug adapter.

Completely agree. The current headset models are hideous. Anyway, you can do what you are asking for--at least I do. Just use normal earbuds and get a mic. Griffin makes a great product called iMic that you can plug their iTalk into. I also use the following speaker phones which you can plug headphones (and sometimes mics) into: Polycom Communicator, Phoenix Duet and Logitech QuickCall.
