Goldman: Tech Stocks’ Financial Services Exposure

Goldman Sachs analysts have updated their list of tech stocks sorted by financial services industry exposure. Perhaps needless to say, it’s a bad time to be an Indian IT outsourcer.

Then again, see any sign of the worst-hit tech stocks from last week — Google, RIM, etc.? Me neither,

    Doesn’t it rather depend on what has been outsourced? New projects may not come by in a credit crunch but maintenance and services related revenues would not change much, would they?

    I wonder how much of GOOG revenue comes from the real estate market – lowermybills.com, countrywide, etc?
    They have some exposure, just not sure how much
