Digression: Evel Knievel, Dead at 69
I won't even begin to try to explain why, but as a young guy I was fascinated with motorcycle stuntman Evel Knievel. Seems almost indefensible now, but it is what it is. Anyway, sad news to hear that he died today at age 69.
Best quote on the news goes to his friend, promoter Bill Rundel:
It's been coming for years, but you just don't expect it. Superman just doesn't die, right?

Evel Knievel died of old age.
Who would have thought it.

Well the Evel Stuntbike toy was (a) the coolest and (b) most indestructable toy ever... I bet you had one of those :-D
