Amida Capital and Cash from Collapsing Quants
You have to hand it to the hedge fund community. Funds are already emerging to take advantage of the collapse of the quants this past August:New York-based Amida Capital plans a one-year fund “to capitalise on near-term opportunities caused by summer 2007 delivering, structured products collapse, and model-driven unwinds”, according to marketing material sent to investors.[via FT]
