Robert Shiller: “Less Bearish” On Housing

Intermittently interesting interview with Yale’s Robert Shiller on the outlook for the housing market. Among other things, he says that he’s become “less bearish” about housing. Admittedly, that’s not saying much — if Shiller had been any more bearish then homes all over the country would have started spontaneously combusting — but hey, it’s a change.

    Bob Shiller called the top of the stock market in March 2000. Then he called the top of the housing market. I’ll be anxiously awaiting when he calls the bottom.
