Why oh why is it so darn hard to blog from my BlackBerry Curve? Short of using the web interface to Movable Type on the Curve — something I wouldn’t even force on an enemy — there is no tool, no applet, etc., for doing mobile blogging.
This is 2007 folks. Why the heck hasn’t someone stormed the world with a credible mobile blogging app?

The admin interface is mobile-friendly.
I’m with you on that one!
WordPress has an option to blog via email – you send an email to a designated address and it gets posted to your blog. Surely Moveable Type has a similar option?
Nope, no such luck in MT. No email interface of which I’m aware.

Because the world of mobile bloggers is pretty darn small…
Fair enough, but there are decent mobile blogging apps for Treo. What’s the trouble with BlackBerry? Darn corporate types.
Hey Paul, give http://www.LiteFeeds.com a try …
LiteFeeds has an advanced RSS reader for BlackBerry that allows you to post articles to your blog. If you’d like to post original stuff just blank the field and type whatever you want. You configure your blog settings in the ‘Settings’ panel of our website. LiteFeeds is not solely for mobile blogging but works just fine if you need something simple. Plus you get all the other features such as RSS browsing, del.icio.us bookmarking, article clipping, sharing via email, alerts etc…
Let me know if it works out for you …

Hey Paul, there is a decent email-to-blog plugin for MT, but I agree that there needs to be a better Blackberry client. I have the feeling there’s one around and we just need to (re-)discover it. We’ve made our own mobile clients for a lot of our platforms, but we don’t offer one for the Blackberry yet, unfortunately.
Now that my wife (who uses MT for her job) has a Curve, I bet I”ll be pretty motivated to find a solution.
