On Porsche and its launch date: The car is being launched in Frankfurt where the date is written as 11/ 9/ 2007.
So I am afraid the numerology remark does not fit.
Nor does the ‘remembrance’ comment.
Curious – do you guys in the US remember 7 July every year? Lots of Brits died that day in tube bombs in 2005. Or 8 October where some 100,000 people died in the SE Asian earthquake in 2006. I did not think so…
So (unless you meant the remark in jest or irony) why would you expect everyone to mark remembrance on 11 Sept, especially in Europe where Remembrance is marked on 11 November or the nearest Sunday to it, to remember WWII veterans and heroes?

Or Dec. 26 ’04 with 200k tsunami victims. Plenty of death days to commemorate, every day of the year. Hate to admit it, but when Paul mentioned “remembrance” for the 911′s launch date, I didn’t even think of September 11 (like I instantly do when I see “September 11″ spelled out). Also, for as big a threat as terrorists are with their years of planning and millions of dollars and human intellect, isn’t it comforting to know that mother nature can decide to shake up a nuclear facility and spill radioactive waste into the ocean and the air whenever she chooses?
The ’06+ 911 is called the 997 in Europe.
