Motorola Gives Apple a Birthday Present
Motorola is getting set to give Apple a nice mobile-market birthday present: It is supposedly buying Palm for $2-billion, which should thoroughly distract Moto around a doomed platform.Steve should send 'em a nice note of thanks.

My friends involved in electronics retail tell me that PDA sales have tanked since the iPhone was announced, specially the Palm and Treo models. Moto not only is getting distracted but should get paid to acquire Palm.
