On the Road Again (and Again (and Again))

I feel like I'm on the road perpetually right now, and it's really tiring, not to mention getting awfully old. I've criss-crossed the country twice in the last few days, and am now on the way to moderate a panel at an event up at Whistler, BC.

While Whistler is a fine place, and I'm fond of skiing what few times I can, getting there from San Diego is like getting to Alpha Centauri on a f***-ing bicycle. And don't even get me started about the evils of being wrongly routed through San Francisco, home of all flight delays.

"San Francisco, home of all flight delays."

Actually, I believe that title is currently held by Chicago's O'Hare....

Interestingly, I have had great luck lately with Chicago. Even flew there twice in last three days and never had so much as a flicker from scheduled arrivals/departures.

I just came back from Whistler. Hope you get more snow than I did. Went straight from Whistler to Dublin and got more snow in Dublin.

If you do the Dave Murray downhill, you can say you did the run that the Olympians will be doing in 2010.

Check out Umberto Trattoria in Whistler Village. Great Italian food.

Paul, don't you find it ironic that you still have to attend these high-tech / Web 2.0 conferences in person? Why aren't these conferences providing panelists/guests like you the ability to participate virtually?

Ironic, isn't it?

Best,
George
