DST Dooms Desktop (Again)
Zoli is arguing that the DST debacle proves (again) that desktop software is (still) doomed. Too many points of possible failure, too difficult for real people to manage.I couldn't agree more, and I'm already there. I do very little offline any more, from email on outward.

The one thing about desktops is that your still have the ability to fake it - you can manually move it forward an hour.
It'll be interesting to see how my cable company STB DVR, cell phone and car (time set by nav system) respond on Sunday.
