Watching Tomorrow’s Open

If you’re in the mood to watch what’s happening in Asian markets tonight, Yahoo has the best live ticker of what’s happening on the major Asian indices. While Shanghai’s up slightly, the rest are down anywhere from 2.7 to 6% right now. And it’s another three hours or so until European markets open.

    Pardon my ignorance, but a quick question: what does this drop in the markets mean for oil futures? One would figure that if China dropped because of a negative outlook for the USA economy, the oil prices would fall. However, people pulling their money out of stocks would invest in commodities, right?
