Classic Entrepreneurship Video: Startup.com

Startup.com is a classic of its rare kind, an inside look at the genesis and collapse of an over-funded startup, govWorks.com. I saw it years ago when it first came out, and loved it in a car crash kinda way. Trivia: I moderated a panel to which I invited govWorks CEO Kaleil Tuzman many moons back.

Highly recommended.

Sat down with one of the Co-Founders of GovWorks, Tom Herman last week. I asked him some very hard questions like how he felt he was portrayed and how his relationship was to Kaliel now. It was a great learning experience.

Another great movie from that time is e-Dreams, which follows Kozmo.com:

  3. The most remarkable aspect is that one of Kaliel’s cousins made the film, in a ‘lets see what happens’ sort of way and ended up capturing a great story. She also went on to create ‘Control Room’ which is also fantastic.
