Cingular's Five-Year iPhone Exclusivity
To my way of thinking, Cingular's five-year iPhone exclusivity -- tipped in a USA Today piece on a Verizon turn-down -- is another nail in the iPhone coffin. It's going to take broad distribution of this device to make it succeed, and the longer it sits with a single U.S. wireless carrier the longer the device remains at risk.1
