Robots and "Lego" Contest

The culmination of a nifty robotics course at UC San Diego is a contest tonight. Nate Delson's students have built LegoMegablocks-assembling robots that will study an existing LegoMegablocks-configuration, and then try to recreate it in the shortest time possible. Should be fun to watch.

You must not have any Lego loving kids in your house, because those things in the picture are not Legos. I know I'm being a bit nitpicky, but Lego does have their own consumer-robotics system - see http://mindstorms.lego.com

Yes, I know the difference. This is actually megablocks, not lego, but didn't want to split hairs in a short post.
