Catching Up: Ron Insana, Business Media and More Business Media

I have a bunch of things floating around here on changes in the business media, and I thought I’d share them:

  • BusinessWeek is flirting with unprofitability, and is letting go a dozen staffers. And no, none of them were writers on that horrible Digg cover piece. (NY Post)
  • It is a rare time of change for business magazines, with a major new mag coming (CN Portfolio) and existing publications struggling. (UNC)
  • Ex- CNBC host Ron Insana is going into the fund business , which reminds me a little of Lou Dobbs going to at the peak of the dotcom bubble. (NY Post)
