Wirefly X PRIZE Cup Anyone?
Anyone planning to attend the X PRIZE Cup next week at Albuquerque's Las Cruces airport in New Mexico? I'm fascinated, in particular, by the Space Elevator Challenge. Intro to one team here.

Man, I'd love to make the trip out there... like you, I'm interested in the space elevator challenge (the RRL sounds cool, too). I've been wondering what the effect of the new title sponsor, Wirefly, might be on this event moving forward.
"We are very excited to have Wirefly as the title sponsor of the X PRIZE Cup," said Dr. Peter H. Diamandis, Founder and Chairman of the X PRIZE Foundation. "Their support allows small companies and individuals the opportunity to dream big, moving us all one step closer to having a permanent human presence off this planet."

Paul,
I'm excited but not going.
The offer of a review copy of 'Liftport: Opening space to everyone' stands. You're not especially obligated to actually review it if, after reading out book, you don't want to.
