Speaking of Search: Amazon A9 Deathwatch Continues
Speaking of people wasting their time in nowhere search efforts, Amazon is pulling back more from its A9 efforts. I have written here before on how Amazon's A9 is failing. Well, further evidence came in late Friday, which I somehow missed, with the company announcing that Amazon was discontinuing the A9 toolbar, history, bookmarks, and diary.For the data-minded out there, courtesy of Amazon's own Alexa, you can see how poorly A9 continues to do.

I am actually very amazed that A9 has that much traffic. I've never seen anyone use A9. Then again, I rarely see anyone use Ask for search, too.
I'd love to help out A9 users migrate their bookmarks to Simpy, if they need a new home. About 4 months ago, I did that for de.lirio.us, as described here.
