Sorry for the fan-boy headline, but the new Google Reader is great. It’s long been my main mobile reader, but the mobile version has also long been much better than the non-mobile version.
No longer. The new version is great, with a practical interface, easier subscription editing, better viewing option (including a full headline feed), etc.
Caveats? The home screen is funky, and I wish the program defaulted on startup to the feed scanner, rather than the summary thing to which it currently loads. Not a big deal, but worth noting.
Overall, recommended.

Agreed. I wish the per post tools (email, label, star, etc) were always visible, though. Minor quibbles.
