Tech: Luis von Ahn on Human Computation
Speaking of MacArthur Grant awardees, Luis von Ahn's Google Tech Talk on human computation from this summer is wonderful stuff. I love the idea that one future of computer science is more about people than computers.

Dunno- isn't the biggest and most unique part of open source about people? I suppose it isn't computer science, per se, but it certainly is software engineering.
Great video! I have had plenty of past experiences trying to find certain images for presentations or papers and have had no luck. This guy is doing some incredible research and will most definitely help out the search engine optimization factor! Thanks Paul!
Saw and blogged about this video earlier this month. It is a great video and ground breaking in the ideas that Prof. Luis von Ahn (CMU) presented. It is not just the "game" inself but the background work/researches and ideas that were the most amazing to me.
Cheers,
Kempton
