Schadenfreude and L.A.'s Vascularized Freeways
I am fond of the Windows Live Local traffic site, but use it mostly to gloat about not having to drive on I-5 in north San Diego County. To make myself feel really good, however, nothing beats scrolling up to Los Angeles and checking out Friday night traffic. With all the red lines (denoting speeds under 25mph) it's as if the city's freeways have vascularized.
