VF's New Establishment List: I'm Number 101, Apparently
The October issue of Vanity Fair has some guy's kid's picture on the cover, but most people will, ahem, ignore that and flip straight to the magazine's list of the New Establishment 100. The puffy magazine's list of most influential people in media, technology, finance, and entertainment is headed by Rupert Murdoch, followed by Sergey Brin and Larry Page, and then by Steve Jobs.In terms of trends, Murdoch replaced Brin/Page at the #1 spot, and Jobs moved up to #5. More here from DealBook. And on a personal note, the VF editors tell me was I ranked 101. Darn.
