TheGlobe.com is Not Enough
Stephan Paternot, the founder of brief tech high-flyer The Globe.com, apparently thinks his story -- callow young guy's dot-com gets hit in ass by IPO rocket, then company dies -- would make a good movie. More specifically, judging by the number of himbo beauty shots in this faux trailer for the hypothetical flick, he apparently thinks he would make a good movie star:It seems that the embarassing mess that was TheGlobe.com was not enough.

I worked for Paternot during that period. Where the hell was Todd Krizelman in this trailor?
I loved the "teenage heartthrob" line.
Thanks for pulling all this great material together
Was TheGlobe.com the progenitor of MySpace, Facebook, etc ?
typical sour grapes buddy. I agree with andrew. It's a classic story and he's utilizing his experience to it's fullest potential.. and not building a doomsday machine.
you wish you were that handsome paul. jealousy is the same color as money...
get over it.

OK, so when's the PSEUDO-mentary coming out?

Great music though!
More seriously, the guy is doing nothing other than most of us do all the time: leveraging his best assets to achieve a goal. I think you're a tad harsh on him. He seems like a decent fella, and probably good fun to have a beer with.
