Five Minutes with YouTube
Not much new ground covered in this five-minute excerpt from an upcoming Charlie Rose interview with the YouTube founders, but it's still worth a listen/watch:
As an aside, I hate the Silicon Valley founding myth garage thing. It is usually a lie, and I'd frankly find it more believable if entrepreneurs said they had been grown in moist petri dishes -- just add Ajax -- under Doerr's desk on Sandhill.

why? we work in a garage ;) sadly, we are very far from silicon valley
Entrepreneurs have it tough enough already... do we need to add the imagery of one under a VC's desk?

Paul, what is wrong with the garage myth? Someone who has a garage in Silicon Valley probably lives in a house valued at over $700K. It means that the founder's background is not exactly Twistian.
