The Art of Being a Blog Troll
More than a few blog trolls could learn a great deal from a recent Daily Mail column ("Sorry, but my children bore me to death"). It has started a kind of international natter-fest on blogs, with the author alternately pilloried (mostly) and praised (a little).Whatever your feeling about the content (and I think she is merely being a troll), the piece is an examplar of its trolling kind. The author hews a hard and inflammatory line on a subject about which many vocal people hold strong and contrary views. Impressive.
