Groceries, Cell Phones, and Stay-at-Home Canadians
According to a fascinating new study from Statistics Canada, young Canadians are staying in the parental nest longer than ever.
Combine the preceding with a recent N.Y. Times article about how well people are eating when they are in a family unit and that has to be bullish for the grocery industry. It's also arguably bullish for the cell phone industry, with young consumers being among the most aggressive users of paid services, and most of those bills being paid for by parents.
