Roundoff Rainfall Records

After record recent heat here in southern California, it cooled off and rained here in ever-dry SoCal today. And it was real rain, with runoff, dripping noises and everything. So, as you might expect, records were set, including the one in Ramona from this wonderfully inconsequential NWS bulletin:

A RECORD RAINFALL OF 0.04 INCH(ES) WAS SET AT RAMONA AIRPORT TODAY.
THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 0.01 SET IN 2003.
