Steve Case's Mea Culpa Moment
Lots of people commenting on Steve Case's mea culpa moment viz the AOL/Time-Warner dot-com deal of years ago. By monkeying with the URL, a la Jon Udell, I was able to link directly to the words for your repeated schadenfreude-ish pleasure.[Update] As an aside, I'm in debt to Garett Rogers, Google spelunker extraordinaire, for pointing out that you can now deep link in Google videos.

Great video, Paul. It is so hard to find a CEO who can even fathom the idea of a mistake, let alone admit to one or share his regret.
I think this video should be watched by media companies that are once again pursuing the latest new thing, user-created content.
With CNN, AOL, etc all looking at YouTube as a hot thing to copy, it is worth asking:
*Are broadcasters cramming the new thing (user-created short videos) into a business model that can't support the new thing?
