The Movable Social Networking Feast

Adding more fuel to those who believe that social networking sites are ephemeral things that wouldn’t be unfamiliar to Steve Rubell, there is this in today’s FT:

Hitwise sees users transferring from MySpace to Bebo, which is set to overtake MySpace as the most popular networking site in the UK in the next few weeks.

“People are moving among the sites and using them for different things. It’s not displacing the other site but I do see the attention of the audience fragmenting,” [a Hitwise rep] says.
