More Tim on 2.0: Lessons in Crisis Management

In a new post on the Web 2.0 service mark subject, Tim O’Reilly continues to do one of things he does best: Patiently and thoughtfully explain why he has taken the positions that he has on a difficult subject.

Whether you agree or disagree with where Tim is coming down — and as I said earlier, I mostly agree with his current perspective — many CEOs of my acquaintance should watch Tim’s approach here. There is much to learn about transparently and actively managing and re-shaping an evolving mini-crisis.
