Traffic Tickets and Stock Trading
There is a funky research paper out that makes the heretofor unheralded connection between speeding tickets (and sports cars) and your fondness for stock trading....regressions (containing the usual set of controls) of trading activity on an alternative measure of sensation seeking--a dummy variable for whether one owns a sports car--indicate that alternative sensation seeking proxies are significantly related to trading activity, albeit to a lesser degree than the number of speeding tickets.
