Cisco Hasn't Exited the Tunnel o' Telecom
Cisco's guidance is taking the stock down tonight after the earnings release. I have to confess: I wasn't all that excited by the earnings numbers. Take out the now-completed S-A acquisition and you have a solid, but not stand-out, revenue figure; and doing $0.29 vs. $0.26 analyst earnings consensus isn't exactly a screaming signal that we've exited the long, dark tunnel o' telecom.
