JupiterKagan: Consolidation in the Technology Research Business
The IT market research shoals continue to be a tricky place to navigate. The business has never truly recovering after the dot-com bust and the end of big enterprise software buys. The latest example: Consolidation, with JupiterResearch merging with Kagan to form a new firm, JupiterKagan.There is more here from David Schatsky at the former JupiterResearch.
(As an side, how much longer until Forrester merges into Gartner, IDC, or equivalent? Mind you, the company's stock has risen nicely of late, and CEO/founder Colony has put in place a raft of significant senior management changes.)
