Voyeur-casting Your Desktop
Amir Michail has emailed me with a funky idea: VNCCasting. He has a put up a site --- VNCCasts.com -- where you can watch in realtime how other people are willingly webcasting how they're using their computer. Of course, the other person has to be VNCCasting their desktop, and you have to have the freeware RealVNC installed (viewer and server), but that's about it.The obvious question: Why would you want to broadcast your desktop in realtime? Amir suggests people might show off stuff on the web, or demonstate info on specific topics, or even for training. While I'm sure the idea will make many people squeamish, there is a part of me that thinks there will be a surprisingly large amount of interest in this.
