White-Collar Crime Pays
White-collar crime pays ... at least if you're the Feds. From a brief note in the current BusinessWeek, here is the total amount collected in confiscated goods auctions that were conducted by the Justice and Treasury Departmentes in two recent years:- 2001: $627mm
- 2005: $926mm
