Two Screens Good, One Screen Bad

In a spooky echo of Animal Farm, as of moments ago I’ve now heard at least four times in the last few days someone say the equivalent of “two screens good, one screen bad” in pitching some interactive technologies. But it’s not the idea of having multiple flat panels, like I do in my airtraffic control-esque office rig. Instead, it has to do with recognizing that more and more people watch media while using a second screen at the same time, whether it’s their laptop, their smart phone, or their portable music player.
